Zack Anawalt
President & CEO
As founder of Anawalt Development, Zack brings more than 25 years of experience in land development, renewable energy, energy storage, real estate, architecture, planning, and project management.
Prior to founding Anawalt Development, Zack held leadership positions at PG&E where he acquired over 100,000 acres for Wind, Solar, CAES, Remediation and Transmission projects: Comcast Corporation where he acquired land rights to retrofit downtown San Francisco with a new fiber network: GCL New Energy where he acquired and led permitting efforts for a 100MW Energy Storage portfolio. Zack has also owned and operated a successful design build practice from 1998-2008.
Being raised in Northern California sparked a passion for the environment, sustainable design, renewable energy, and the necessity to find a fulcrum point between the built environment and nature. Zack holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, from Arizona State University, a California Real Estate License, and is a Sr. Right of Way agent with International Right of Way.

As a renewables empowerment company we have experience in all phases of project development, from site selection through construction, including equity and debt partners to assist with project financing.
